Like to Crochet or Knit?

  How would you like to help make an afghan of love for these children. Use up your spare wool and crochet or knit a 9 X 9 inch square. You can use any pattern  or colors you wish so long as each square measures nine by nine. Use your imaginations to make smiley icons in the patterns or hearts or whatever you wish.

Make as many squares as you like, and mail them to me. You can personalize them by darning in your initials, or your full name into a corner of the square.
When I have received enough squares I will darn them altogether and send it on to a child featured that month.

The more squares you send, the more we can make and send warm cuddly blankets all over Canada. Each one filled with love and hope that cures will be found for these children.  When each afghan is completed I will take a photo of it and scan it so that everyone who contributed can see what the finished product looks like. I'll send a card along with all the names of people who have contributed to  the child that receives the blanket.  The scanned photo will be shown on the updates page along with the child's name who received the afghan. Help us to send an afghan to each and every child featured on this web site.
