Sleep

Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow;
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn's rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush.
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft star that shines at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there; I did not die.

Angels among us.

D.O.B. Apr. 28 1996
D.O.D. Nov. 30 2004

Benjamin was an 8 year old boy who loved trains. He loved to play with them and was totally fascinated by the way they sound. He also used to love to run and play in the parks. Playing on the swings and slides was one of his favorite things to do. An interactive hyper little boy full of energy.  Sadly Benjamin lost his battle with Battens late November and now is out of pain. Ben is soaring with the angels. May he finally be at peace.

D.O.B. Feb. 28 1993 D.O.D.August 8 2004

Jake was  an eleven-year-old boy who was a very courageous child.
He has beaten the odds and was a survivor.  Sunday August 8 2004 he lost his battle with his dreaded illness. An illness that was like a roller coaster. His mom didn't want him to suffer any more but she wasn't ready to say good-bye to her baby who fought so hard to stay in this world. Over the last few weeks his smile faded along with his weight loss and Jake was slowly slipping from her.
Jake was first diagnosed with neuroblastoma in 1997 and fought to his last breath. One of his favorite says was "don't worry mom, we beat it before and we will again." Always the brave little guy taking care of mom.

Jesus, I heard you had a big house

Jesus, I heard you had a big house,
Where I could have a room of my own.
And Jesus, I heard you had a big yard,
Big enough to let a kid roam.

I heard you had clothes in your closet,
Just the right size that I wear,
And Jesus, I heard if I give you my heart,
Then You would let me go there.

Jesus, I heard about meal time,
When all your children come to eat,
I heard you had a great big table
Where every kid can have his own seat.

Jesus, they said there will be plenty,
Of good things in heaven to share,
And Jesus, I'd just like to tell you
I sure would love to go there.

Jesus, I heard in your big house
there's plenty of love to go around.
I heard there's always singing and laughter
To fill the place with happy sounds.

And I've been thinking that a friend
Who would give me all that he's got
Before I even have met Him
Well, He sure must love me a lot.

And Jesus, I'd just like to tell you,
I sure do love you a lot.

Hearts

Sad was the parting, No one can tell.
How suddenly that night the sorrow fell.
The blow was hard, The shock severe.
To part with one we loved so dear.
You are dearer still as the years depart.
Your memory sweet child, Lives in our hearts.

   Our Angel Shad

     Tiny little shallow breath
       Heard echoing in my heart
       Everyday another miracle
                   Yesterdays tomorrow's miles apart
Don't worry my little wee one
I've got you in my thoughts
Each day you stay amongst us
The story of all you've fought
Oh little angel, how so brave
Our lives have so been brushed
                    Your strength and determination
           Obscured by life gone rushed
Unfair to the world that you must go
Never doubt the love we've shared
       Good-bye my little wee one,
                                         forever in my prayers.

Rachel

             Our precious little angel
         Sent from God above.
He gave her to us briefly
         To cherish and to love.

She warmed the hearts of many
But we loved her the best.
Lord wrap your arms around her
                In her eternal rest.

Her shining eyes and radiant smile
                     Her noisy kisses too,
We'll always carry in our hearts
And share them Lord with You.

                  Care for dear Rachel's spirit
And give her wings to fly.
                  Our darling, darling little girl
We'll see you by and by.

   Love, Oma

  We Are Blessed

We are blessed to have known you
A great brother, son and friend.
We are blessed to have loved you
With a love that will not end.
We are blessed to have witnessed
Your great strength, courage and fight.
We are blessed to be encompassed,
               By your warm shining light.
We are blessed that God sent you,
        To us, be it brief.
We are blessed God is with us,
                    Through all of our grief.
We are blessed to have learned,
Of God's great love and care.
We are blessed by the friendships,
          That all of us share.
We are blessed to have the chance,
             To say our good-byes.
We are blessed by the lessons,
               That made you so wise.
We are blessed, not that illness took you away.
We are blessed that in our hearts,
            You will always stay.
We are blessed that your wish,
to be free and to roam,
         Came true with our Father,
         called you back "Home"

    Love Mom

When the earth is turned in spring,
The worms are fat as anything
The birds come flying all around
To eat the worms right off the ground
They like worms as much as I
Like bread and milk and apple pie
And once when I was VERY young
I put a worm right on my tongue
I didn't like the taste a bit
So I didn't swallow it
But OH!  It makes my Mother squirm
Cuz she thinks I ate the worm

Angel Wings

Every Where you look
There are angels.
They look the same as anyone else.
They always think of others,
And never just themselves.
Angels always stand tall and are brave through the toughest times.
Every good deed they do means one more feather on their wings.
You are one of those angels.
You always saw the best of things,
Even when no one else could.
You’ve left everyone with happy memories,
Memories that no one will forget.
You’ll always be with us,
As long as we believe.
Watching over us,
From somewhere that we cannot see.
People can say you’ve gone away and that you will not return.
But what really happened,
Is that you are an angel that has moved on,
And you have simply received your wings.

In loving memory of Anne-Marie T.

To the Families of our children. Thank you for sharing their lives with us.

ang

We Little knew that morning,
God was going to call your name.
In Life we loved you dearly,
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories,
Your love is still our guide.
And though we cannot see you,
Your always by our side.
Our family chain is broken,
And nothing seems the same.
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again.
